Ben, Ben, Ben.
I like your thinking but unlike you I am to impatient to stuff around with a modification like that. I unlike others say go for the conversion and good luck to you.
I recently saw an FJ20t in a 1200 ute and it wasn't that tight a fit (not what I was expecting). By the way it ran 11.2 ET's with stock tires and suspension and diff and the rest. Don't
know how much smaller the 1000 engine bay and tunnel is though but good luck.
One of these days after I pay off a house I will undertake a project far bigger than this but unfortunately it is only in drawings at the moment. Can't say much other than the
Australian car show scene will be amazed and think I am crazy.

when building my engine we were going to put the triple valve springs in place but I opted for the more street friendly version and so I only have double springs on the A15. This is because
it is N/A as the Queensland laws changed after the engine was finished being built. My engine builder used to build A12's for a drag racer that would rev to 10 000 and the scarey thing is
that they used to dump the clutch off the line at 8000.
Anything is possible to do to an engine.

REMEMBER the only limit to your engine mods is the size of your wallet.

My dream is a top fuel 4 cylinder (preferably using an A series block but it may melt)
Sweet dreams all.

Come on Chris. Even I like to rev the old girl passed the 8000 mark occasionally and yet I am not a P plater or under 18. Admittedly it isn't anywhere near
a standard A15.
Everybody likes to have fun and explore the limits of there pride and joy.

Admitedly this event is something you don't see everyday, but it is interesting. Being in the civil engineering game, it is interesting to watch how the buildings handled the impacts
and the fires. Needless to say that the buildings did what they were designed to do but they were not designed for that kind of plane. Congratulations go to the engineers who did
take into account planes flying into the towers when it was being designed. Computers can only model so much, but this we can learn from and apply to other buildings.
Hope the US build another Empire State building as it holds the most construction records in the world.
Just taking a different view.

Funny I think how cars with large exhaust tips seem to rev harder or so their owners think. This is why you then need to buy a big tacho and you must have a shift light to tell
you when you hit 4000rpm or else you will blow the engine up. I also know that pro stock drag cars don't have pipes as big as some excels and swifts getting around.

Maybe the excel and swift drivers know something that drag racers don't

I woke to here of the tragedy and couldn't believe the pictures I was looking at. It is a real shame that people carry out these attacks and more so that innocent people die
as a result. My families thoughts are with those people who are injured or worse and their families. I hope (know) the US response will be big and justified

It is for sale.
Has 5 speed, hot A15, adjustable coil overs, flared guards, GX bonnet, new interior, Autometer dash & too much else too
go into.

It is a road car with too much money spent on it and has won various trophies. There are photos already posted.

Offers over $8000 considered.
For this price it is really good value if you are thinking of a rebuild or conversion.

I don't want too sell it too someone who won't appreciate it, but it is looking that way unless you guys and girls want
to buy it.

Surely someone wants the thing. Please

Email- glennandkelly1200@hotmail.com

or just see my profile.

Just wondering if anybody has ever had a stroker A15. I know that you can increase the capacity to 2 Litres. It is possible and was wondering if anyone else has done such a thing
and if so who made the crank and rods.
