Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if I will need a new rear gearbox mount like the pitroad pic for a dogleg 60L 5 speed to fit into a 1200 coupe?

Cheers

Shero

Can anyone tell me if the GX center cap can be removed from this wheel?

It does move slightly when i push the edges but i dont want to try and pry it out if its not designed to be removed.

I'd like to take it out to give it a good clean.

Cheers

Mystery solved....its an H74 round port head extensively modified from standard.
Has some corrosion on the head, is this anything to be concerned about?

Just looking at the pics on Tech wiki... could be my eyes playing tricks on me and this pic is dirty compared to some clean pics so who knows...

Thanks for the follow up. It makes sense it's a round port head with port work to make them oval shaped. One other question, all the A12 head pics appear to have rounded edges etc where as this head appears to have straighter edges? Don't know if that makes any difference to the type of head it could be.

Thanks guys, I can’t get a top view of the head or it would be easy to work it out. I didn’t think it was an A12 head as I can’t find any pics on tech wiki that match the stud pattern on the inlet and exhaust which is what had me stumped.

Hi all,

Need some help to identify this head I’m looking to buy.

I don’t have any other pics and I’m not sure which head it is.

Cheers
Matt
