Hi

Does anyone know which strut inserts i can run in my 45mm 120y front struts. Im looking at making coil overs using this kit.

https://www.performancesuspension.com. ... for-making-a-strut-into-a

And i need shorter inserts. I have read the wiki where n10 pulsar and vw golf insert are used but im having trouble sourcing them from parts shops and online.

Also the part number on the wiki dosnt seem to yield much results. Anyone have any new part number?

Thanks

Hi

I have just completed a brake conversion on my 120y and have a question with regards to disc placement.

Instead of having then slip on over the studs which increases track by 8mm is it possible to have them in the factory position.

I can bore out the rotor hub diameter and slide them onto the hub. Can also drill and tap the rotor to bolt factory style and can add a turned up ring behind the rotor if it needs more thickness for the threads.

I guess all you would then do is add spacers behind the caliper bracket to strut face (thickness of hub flange)

Anyone see an issue with this method?

Only issue i see is possibilty of brake mounts to hit strut, will have to measure it before going ahead

How do you find the 300lbs springs?

Are they to stiff or ok?

Hey man that sounds amazing
Have you got any pictures?

Also how did you end up getting them to fit. What mods did you need.

Roll the guards? Is it standard width diff.

I found some info on a guy running
14x8-2 on the front and 14x8-12 on rears not sure what was done to fit them.

Im thinking of going
14x7-2 front and 14x8-12 rears

I am going to put coilover sleeves on and make some camber caster tops.

But will also run s13 brakes which means it will space of the front by 8mm acording to l18_b110.
