So if i was to turbo a A12 engine the legal way to do it would be to get it engineered?. But i guess most people dont bother?

This wont be my daily but i dont want to get refused insurance claim if im in a accident over a turbo.

Thanks

What if i get it engineered as a sr20de then turbo it later on chances of getting into trouble would be alot less? Bad idea?

Does a turbo system have to be engineered ?
alot of people add turboes to NA engines without engineering is this legal with no engineering or is it just something people dont bother doing?

Thanks

Hi i have a 120y which i am doing body work on at the moment and i have just got a sr20de for dirt cheap and i want to put it in the 120y

I have been reading that you can get it engineered in victoria if its N/A but if i was to turbo it will it be possible to do?

Has anyone got a turbo sr engineered in vic?

Any help/info and contacts of engineers would be great

Thanks

I have recently installed new door rubbers in my 120y the door seals are from thailand and it looks exactly like factory datsun item

But the problem i have is hi amounts of wind noise and whistle which wasnt there with the old seals

When driving i put my hand around the door seal and cant feel any cold air but on the top window frame i can see outside light bu a small amount not sure why it dosnt fully seal

Inwas thinking of replacing the pinch weld strip with this built in seal to seal on the inner part of the door

http://www.clarkrubber.com.au/epdm-bl ... ide-bulb-13mm-x-26mm.html

Does this seem like a good idea i dont want to waste money of not needed

Anyone else experience this with replacement seals?

Thanks

My 120y heater seems to only work on full and not low speed. Does anyone know where the resistor is located and also any idea on what value resistor i will need to buy?

Thanks
