i'm in sydney Australia and am currently looking for another 1200 ute coz my one got hit up the arse and is gonna cozt heaps to fix.

so if anyone knows of any 1200 utes around with a decent arse end on it, when i say that i mean fairly good panels with as little rust as possible. as long as the chassis is
striagh in the front end i dont care about the panels. and i dont care about the driveline. as long as i can easily roll it onto a trailer

as teretonga said, a ute man will be selling some parts after a rear ednder into him. i am that ute man. the A15 i have in my ute went straight in. weapon of a motor. all i had
on it was twin factory SU's, very very mild cam, GX exhaust manifold, with a 1 3/4 exhaust, and still smacked V6 commodores. i got quoted for an engine rebuild that would have it
smacking mildly worked V8's

it'll most likely be for sale shortly

yeah i've got an A15 in my ute. goes straight in with your engine mounts on it. bolt your gearbox straight on coz they are both a series blocks,
everything lines up perfectly

yeah i put a pair of stanza seats in my ute with the original ute runners on the base. the drivers seat can move forward and backward, recline and lean forward. the passenger however
stays the same except they can recline a little. but the passenger doesnt matter when its your car. i might actually be getting rid of mine coz i'm looking at a $5200 insurance repair
bill on a car that isnt quite worth that much to an insurance assesor. so keep your eyes open i might be selling off 99% of my car and parts. including an A15, GX SU's, dogleg 5 speed,
2 ute diffs, etc etc

anyways

the shortened shocks will only work effectively if you have reset the springs. because the lowering blocks dont move the spindle that the shock mounts to on the
plate underneath the diff.
