where the booster comes through, if I dumped the booster and just ran the 120y Master, wouldn't that leave a big hole?

hahahahaha thats awesome, I can just picture that conversation, "mate do you know how fast you were going?" "obviously not fast enough you almost ran up my arse!"
I was thinking about that setup but as Corey said it will leave a hole there, old mate is supposed to put rego on it for me then i might look at either a spacer or patching it up or something similar

yeah, I defiantly see what you mean, I had a quick look just before, took a heap of photos as well, i think he may have adjusted the clutch out since i looked at it last (or my memory was exaggerating haha) because the pedal difference isnt as bad as i thought.
I think ddgonzal is right tho, just get rid of the booster all together and run the original MC, I hate the feeling of hard brakes especially at any kind of speed, just feels like im a tad too close to doing a 180
ill try upload those photos now, bear with me haha

Hi guys, pretty new to this but here we go. I'm buying a 77 1200ute thats recently had a body resto on it, from what i can tell it been done quite well.
it has the a12 motor and a bit of a sad webber attached to it at the moment, but that no drama.
the thing thats doing my head in a bit is the brake set up thats on it, Ive searched heaps of forums for similar issues and can only find parts of what i need.
so this bloke wanted to update the brakes, yep cool, everyone wants to from what i can see, he's put in 120y struts with discs, and a 1600 booster, now the brake pedal sits about 100mm higher than the clutch pedal and its hard as a rock, super skecty to drive with.
Ive spoken with Scott from mad dat and he reckons somethings defiantly not right. I'm going to have another look at the car tomorrow and I'll be taking many photos, not quite sure of how to upload them on here yet but I'm sure i will figure it out.
Thanks in advance :) Josh
