i found a tyre shops near my place that have 3 brands of 195/50/15 and 1 195/45/15 so im off measuring tomorrow to see if any are under their advertised sizes (fingers crossed) will let everyone know the outome.
as i still want the widest rubber as it has traction trouble as it is.

Hi Guys,

i currently have a set of 195/50/15's on my 1000 and they rub a little on the gaurd, i have trimmed as much as possible but in still about 3mm shy of not scrubbing when punching it through corners, my question is are 195/45/15 a smidgen narrower aswell as a lesser sidewall.

or does anyone know of a slightly smaller 195/50/50 as i would think brands differ a little. (currently running federals)

Cheers

this is a picture of a Magna http://graftoncarmarket.com.au/wp-con ... ploads/2009/03/1995-magna, and as for EMS gear look here http://www.enginemanagementsystem.com/ , using an aftermarket Engine management system makes it all work, not sure if and OEM stuff is adaptable.

as for a step by step guide, the EMS manual covers all except the crank angle sensor to replace the distributer

Mine uses an EMS engine management system and a Crank angle sensor from a Magna with the nose turned to fit, and an EMS ignighter. its not a cheap thing to do, it will cost between $1500 and $2000 if you use new parts.
