Yes have to confirm that a oil cooler is a good idea on tuned engines as mine went over 160'C just driving down the street and back again.
Cooling fans are no good unless your driving Miss Daisy. Good coolant is a must.

Had the same sort of problem with my electric fuel pump but the fuse checked out good and wasn't broken, but the problem was corrision on the fuse holder terminals stopping the fuse make contact.

Had to figure that one out half way through a AutoX.

Am able to get my hands on a Z16 motor, how easy or hard is it to convert from A15. Would there be much of an avantage in doing this conversion, I know that the Z16 is a cross-flow head, but do the have the reaiblity the A15 has and are parts easy to source as up till a couple of days ago had never heard of them.

Just found a electronic distributer for my turbo A15 and after advice as to what sort of coil I would be best to use. At the moment I'm using a Gt40r coil, but have been told that a Blaster 2 would be a good upgrade.
Don't really want to go to an ugly MSD unit, would like to stick to the round cyclinder type ones if possible.
Any advice much appricated.

Is there any pistons from a turbo vechile that fit the A15. As i've found a guy running TX3 turbo pistons but has been bored out to 1590.
Any info would be good as don't have the money for forged pistons so I thought pistons from a turbo would be the next best thing.
These are going to be used in my A15 turbo Rally car, would like to be running about 13-14 Psi but would be build to be reilable.

A work mate got me thinking today, the problem mainly happened when going round left handers which makes me think that I might have to change the oil pick up in the sump.
Yeah the turbo feed is in the same place as the pressure gauge on the side of the oil filter, will this be cutting the oil pumps ablity to pump the oil round.
Is there any oil pump upgrade that could be of a help.

As far as I know its still using the original sump, so would this be where the problem is?

Just had a look today, it uses a wish bone suspension at the front, no struts, so would the ventilated hubs be able to fit on to B310 Struts?

I've had oil pressure problems with my 120y Turbo. Did some circuit events a couple of weeks ago and found that going round corners tightest ones, that I was losing oil pressure right down to nothing but would come when exit the corner.
The day was fairly hot and yes it did have plenty of oil in it. I'm running a semi-synthetic 10W-40 oil in the engine.
Would it be that the oil was over heating and becoming to thin or do I need to look at upgrading the standard oil pump to something bigger?
