Hello again ! I apologise for my absence.
Been goin' through some s##t with my mrs & have'nt had time for my favorite place.
Have'nt had a chance to look through all the recent threads,so I have a lot of catching up!
In regards to the subaru diff conversion, it won't be happening 'till after new year. All this crap has slowed things down for my Datto, but to no avail,I will be back with a vengence after holidays in Noosa!
Diff will be ready then & all details will thus follow.

A very Merry X-mas & happy New Year to all !!!

Dude when you want to reply to a thread just click on the "REPLY" inside that thread, not "post a new thread" at the top of the page !

Dude if it appeals to you go right ahead !
The old Morries aren`t exactly everywhere to be seen and would be a refreshing change as well ! Gettin` sick of the thousands and thousands of same old "plastic, neon lit, Doof-Doof RICERS" that seem to be on almost every street corner!!!!!!!!

They don`t even know which way a baseball cap is worn, Wankers

Keep the old ones alive !

Sorry about the text, don`t know what happened there ?

Dude I wouldn`t recomend slotting the x-member because there is a tremendous amount of side load ! Have you considered eccentric camber pins ? I`ve asked around and no one seems to make them for a 1200 but if you know anyone with a machine shop, and are willing to make them........?
I`m pretty sure later falcons have these for camber adjustment(not that they`d fit)this would probably give tou a good idea how to make `em.
Like I said before I got my struts bent instead, call it laziness ........zzzzzzz

Anyway hope this helps ?

You could allways do the cheap and nasty thing and get the struts adjusted (bent) my stanza ones are done that way and give 2.5 degrees neg.
Cheers Andrew

Don`t know where abouts in Aust. you are converted ?
John Taylor at Pedders in Penrith does a camber "correction" (bend) with the struts in the car! He did mine,2 degrees, including a wheel alignment for $100 !!!!!!!!

Hi Thomas !
I`ve already approached Dellows with the same questions. They didn`t want to know me! Something to do with no demand, no money in it etc............
The ca18 is not in Dellows books as a feasable venture even when I offered them more money than a regular conversion kit !
If you know a mate with a good machine shop you better go and see him.

The size of the gearbox in a ca/1200 conversion seems to be a problem for plp who don`t like the idea of cutting up the car too much.
Maybe if enough guys got together & approached Dellows it would offset the cost for the bell housing casting "pattern" !
This then might motivate & generate more of these conversions(and ditto with Dellows)

Food for thought
