DON`T remove any leafs for F###S sake !!

How far do you want to lower your ute ?

Penrith City Suspension in Sydney
02 47212112, have a 2" low/block kit for about $75 (part# LBNIS50).

John Taylor at Pedders Suspension Penrith does a 3" reversed eye leaf spring, not sure on price, 02 47312444.

hope this helps ?

I`ve got 175/60/14 on my ute & the speedo is damn near perfect !
A 65 series tyre isn`t all that much larger in diameter. So if you can live with the slight speedo in-accuracy(when you know how far out it is)shouldn`t be too much of a problem!

OK B110SSS4BRAINS I`ll do my best to prove you wrong !
Firstly I was merely stating the fact that certain people go WAY off subject in an attempt to make themselves look good
(Which by the way BACKFIRED terribly well with your much opinionated reply)
Secondly, the whole idea of this IS the sharing and imparting of knowledge & experiences between the owners of 1200`s, so long as it`s on the thread TOPIC!
If anyone wants to talk about their previous or current super-dooper V8-eaters ,POST A NEW THREAD !!!!!
Thirdly, the photos of all my previous & current rides are, as we speak, being converted to digital;and when you see them you know where you can stick-em!!!!!!!!
Last but not least,my previous remarks in this post were in no way directed to anyone in particular. You fired the first bullet,I`m firing back.Only problem is you talk pretty big for someone who has no profile info ?
Are you in AUSTRALIA ? Maybe we could arrange a meeting & discuss your ideas on verbal diarrhoea.

I think it`s very amusing when certain individuals forget what the thread topic is all about; and just manage to f##k it all up with one of those "When I used to own a S##T HOT, super HUGE triple turboed WankBox.......yada yada yada...........

Dodgeman has a good point !
This thing has 2 turbos RIGHT!
Right, well then this engine should`ve been built with some serious BOOST in mind.
This is not intended to insult anyone, but don`t you think it should`ve been done
right the first time ?
This saves a lot of headaches afterwards,as you`ve already found out !

Dude bite the bullet, strip it down and while it`s apart give everything a good clean & inspection. This could only have a positive effect such as "PEACE OF MIND" and a Lesson well learned !

GOOD LUCK

RTA Recognised Engineering Signatorys use the "original weight" taken from the original "tare weight" of the sedan version of the vehicle model, with the largest engine available for that model (but without A/C or towbar). This weight is 730kg.
Basically what this means is even if you have the ute,it`s weight is taken from the sedan. So technically,my ute weighs 730kg !! hahaha.
These arn`t my rules, they`re quoted directly from RTA Information Sheet #6, page 3,under "Replacement Engine".

Hope this clears things up?

If I was baggin you dattodave I would have used one of these instead of one of these ; and probably a few of these ####. But not as many as you used !

I was only questioning your source of incorrect information !

That`s what this forum is all about dude, question & answer time.
If you don`t like the answers, don`t ask the questions!
