Check out this little SR20 Ute, I think it runs 9's from the text, and nice dash set up.

BTW

DD i was watching a current affairs program the other night and i believe that tax on fuel here was just under 50% and tax on fuel in the states was 15%.
However profit margins made by retailers was smaller in the states. Something like 10 to 11 cents per litre here and around 4 to 5 cents per litre for you guys. However these figures could be in AU$ and US$ respectively.

Also I've heard that in Australia we get good clean fuel and that the States has somewhat inferior fuel. How true this is can only be measured in the pump.
And we too do produce our own petrol, plenty of liquid gold across the bass straight, however like the US we do have to rely on imports to support our demand.

I had a crack repaired on my old boxster which was about 4.5inches long with no dramas. I just got the dealership to handle it, but from memory I think the repairer was called 'Windscreen Repairs Australia', however they may only be a sydney service.

And I heard in NSW its not illegal untill is 150 mm. ????

Most people dont spent $5K+ on a spray job to cart lumber around the yard. So usefulness is not really an issue for most ute owners on here. But I perfer the look of the handles on a ute.

Personally I bought my ute for, as Dodgeman explains his 1000, 'its classic lines'. Removing its tailgate handles and making it more modern (excluding performance issues like power [engine trasplant] , braking, handling) is taking away from what made me fall in love with these little buggers in the first place. My point is keep it snoozing, original on the outside and what ever under the hood (yep even a rotor). However I do like a sedan grille and TRX's. You've gotta keep it in the family. Its like putting a senator front, seats etc. on a commy ute, nothing but class in my books.

Anyway back to the point of the thread,

I've seen a BA (I think) falcon ute latch fitted on a ute (YAJOKN's) which has a central lever.

Peace
