That car has some amazing straight line speed compared to your competition - pulling away from what I assume are some V8 powered monsters...very impressive! (Just realised I was looking at mcgee's vids) - well done all the same!
Wow, sounds pretty cool with a lot of the period specific modifications. Fits the bill as a vintage racer without getting sucked in to too many modern mods.
Obviously modern mods might make it even faster but if its the vintage feeling you are after I think that looks pretty cool.
Found some more parts! Original post updated - H89 head, Weber round port manfold, some R31 rear brake brackets useful to put discs on the rear of a 1200.
It's in that grey zone at the moment - so if someone swooped in and made an attractive offer it would be difficult for me to continue to hold it for someone else...
I really do want it to be sold, but if it isn't I'm keen on exploring a plan B, C and D.
