Forgot to add this info:
These are a balanced set of four ARIAS forged pistons a12 +040 with floating pins, teflon buttons, new rings. High comp - don't know how high - but there's plenty of meat in the crowns of the pistons so the tops could be machined off for a turbo application. These would be $1000 plus if you could get them (and if you were prepared to pay!). I'm open to offers.

And...they need to go to someone who'll use them so I am open to offers!

I've offered these before, and someone said they would buy them but never did. Anybody interested?

If the boot latch comes available I'll let you know!

Changed the title of this listing to see if there's anyone out there who wants a good Sunny for the same sort of money you'd expect to pay for just the struts
or the engine and gearbox
or the working air conditioning (original integrated Nissan)
or the good interior
etc etc blah blah blah
Come on come have a look, make me an offer

R30 = heavy
Only reason you'd need a heavy R30 box would be because you're putting a bigger, heavier (more powerful) engine in. Thus the weight of the gearbox is not all that important, because you've upset the balance of a car that pretty much depends on its light weight to do things well. Of course it will accelerate, but it may not handle.

On the other hand, if you're lying under the car trying to lift it, the weight of a gearbox is a CRITICAL factor
