the only reason why id go for the su would be more cfm and a wider range of tuning parts needles etc. I just welded a bit of 2.5 inch exhaust pipe to a bit of 6 mm plate cut to suit the outlet of the carb and fitted a bit of 2.5 inch silcone hose between the carb and turbo.

Hey I was wondering if any of you datophiles out there would know where i could get hold of a "split s" style badge to suit my 1000 2 door. Iv seen them on jap spec cars, some seem to have one on the left hand lower side of the grille. Im after the one that replaces the centre "D" style badge on the grille.

Yeah get some rego on the thing with the standard motor then go for an A15. As for the turbo setup Iv had a draw thru setup on my A15 for almost 7 years its so simple and once you got the turbo would cost less than 500 bucks to build.

This is my high tech water/methanol setup The wind screen washer pump switches on at 5psi and pressurises the system recirculating to the wind screen washer pump. At 18psi an in-line solinoid opens and the water/methanol is injected between the air filter and carby. Im using Hobbs (brand) switches to trigger the pump and solinoid ($50.00 each but you can adjust them from .5psi upto 30+) I have used a washing machine pressure switch before but this had very little adjustment and was quite bulky (I put it in my pigma porkion turbo with a similar water/met setup and it works just fine.
