well they dont fit straight on blue but i got mine off a ford escort 4 pot 2 litre its a 32 36 and it works fine just have to get a adatpor for it

WOOOHOOOOO..........it worksssssssssss
ok now this is what i did ,found the power wire to the coil in my case ,black with a red trace .
back of the standard tacho loop wire male spade to the black with red trace then the female plug of the tacho to the pos side of the coil and yeehaw it be working sweet .
many thanks guys i couldnt have done it without your help .

ok so i will have another go at it ,, if i find the power wire to the + side of the coil then ur telling me all i need to do is cut it and put the tacho in between both ends

yep shes a 1200 coupe tacho and i wired it the way i was told on here male to pos side of coil and female to big black n white wire behind ignition switch ,, still no luck

well i tryed again to get the tacho to work with no joy lol well it still looks better nthe the sunny infill they have standard hahhaa

g'day guys just got myself a 1992 1200 lwb ute stock standard even down to the wheels ,, that didnt last more then 2 days ,ok now for my question i put the tacho out of my sedan into it and wired it up the same way but it dont work i am figurering its because it has electronic dissy can anyone one help me out in regaurds to the way it should be wired << many thanks
