but the datsun 1600 engine is a SOHC motor, with a cross flow head. Wheras the A15 is a SUHC with no cross flow. Wouldn't the 1600 be better?

Hi, Im just wondering what mods it takes to put a CA18DET into a 1200 coupe. What changes you have to make, how long it takes, how much it costs. etc. Any help would be much appreciated.
