In the market for a new gearbox, not a fan of the ratios in the stock 4speed manual.
Anybody got a Middle-Close Ratio 4speed? or a 5speed manual?
Located Sydney Thanks in advance

Current A12 has fried rings so im going to pull it out for a rebuild. I'm chasing another healthy A12 or an A14 as a donor motor in the meantime.
Located sydney, would prefer to pickup

Retorqued all the exhaust bolts. That seems to have made it boost a little earlier. 1-2psi at 4k, 4-5psi at 7k Fuel pressure is rising at the same rate as boost pressure according to the gauges Going to pressure test the intake tomorrow.

Solex 32dis Blow through Mechanical fuel pump has been replaced with a high pressure EFI pump and FPR.
Turbo is a td05-16g. Could the turbo be too big for the setup?
I have not changed the jets, however the car is running fairly rich as is. I figured if it is boosting then it should be leaning out as rpm and boost increase, am i wrong in assuming so?

I probably shouldve mentioned that it's in a 120y 4d Sedan, so its heavier then a 1200.
I took the car for a drive this morning, it feels like im driving an n/a car, slower then the stock A12 with 1" exhaust if anything.
I'd love to put it on a dyno, but i simply cannot afford it at this point. And even if i could I'd still expect to be seeing something on the gauge regardless of how well it's running. I have also confirmed that the gauge works

Just finished installing the turbo on my A12, yet im getting a negligible boost reading at all from it.
Turbo is spooling and pushing air, wastegate isnt stuck open. There's no exhaust or boost leaks that i can find.
About to check the timing and spark plugs, Anything else i should look at?
