Still not happy with these rockers. I have been trying to find the solution so I can run these rockers.
I have had them weighed and each Rolla Rocker comes in at 16 grams heaver. I have spoken to yellow terra and he said that yes the rocker is heavier and it will cause high RPM problems.
he said not only is it heavier but most of the addition weight is on the tip of the rocker and due to its increased inertia makes the valve float problem worse.
They have suggested bigger valve springs but I am trying to decrease valve train stress not increase it.
They also said the chev LS1 rockers have the same problem and to solve this they now make a special light weight version, but there are no plans to do the same for the Datsun ones.
I am now thinking of trying to reduce the weight of the rocker by machining it down?
