The Engine is a early A12 with the front mount dissy, stroked and bored to 1397cc.

Just goes to show bigger is not always better, even though the hp has dropped from 104 to 99 the torque curve give me a much better car to rally. 2" mandrel all the way.

Sorry mine is all fitted up at the moment, but that back section was only tight for me when i had 3.5mm shaved off the head and then it only took a small amount of grinding to fix. but i had no problems with the inlet manifold. The bottom brace helps in keeping the exhaust outlet aligned.

I have just change the exhaust from 2 1/2" press bent to a 2" mandrel system. I have gone from 104hp ATW to 94 ATW but during the dyno run the radiator split the bottom tank so we shut it down without making any changes. so hopefully I will be able to get a few HP back, but the way the power ramps up and holds 90 odd hp for longer and the earlier more linier torque is encouraging.

Also if you remove the brace from the top of the exhaust flange it will not have that sexy laser cut look.
