My car falls in to the "cute" category too..... don't really know how though.... it's low, has big flares, SR20DET, makes plenty of noise and 200rwkw plus it is uncomfortable as any car I have driven...... How the hell can it be Cute?

Chicks might like the Dattos....but they really don't understand!

I have my H190 Baffled, Nismo made a baffle to fit the H190, but I can't find an images.

Basically, it is a piece of metal which sits across the axle tube opening, with a hole for the axle. In the hole for the axle you weld in a piece of tube which extends in towards the diff centre, this stops oil going up the plate and through the hole as easily. By adding some holes either side and at the base, it allows any oil in the axle tubes the ability to drain back.

Also, I have been told to increase the oil level by welding up the standard fill hole and moving up by the width of the standard hole (ie. the bottom of the new hole in line with the top of the original hole. I cheated on this one, and got a 90 degree speedflow fitting, and screwed it into the filler hole (pointing up)..... this allowed me to fill the diff with extra oil.

I don't have a pic of the diff baffles unfortunately, but if you would like a btter explanation PM your Phone number and I will give you a call.

Mark

Commodores do serve a purpose....they make good tow cars.

That is all though.

Have you got a budget in mind? If the spring rate is significantly higher you should get shocks to match (ie. revalved) otherwise the shock will not be able to control the spring.

I would be looking at Koni's or Bilsteins depends on the budget though.

For those who don't know the guys at SW Motorsport.....they know their stuff and have more datto stuff than you can poke a stick at.

I have used them for many years, and they are currently rebuilding my diff.

Good guys to deal with

Looks like fun, what are the costs involved for one of these events?

It's a good idea to do it if you can, the extra volume & distance the oil must travel will put extra strain on the pump.

Do you know for sure that you need an oil cooler? I opted not to run a cooler on my car, and it turns out I don't need one. Oil temps never go above 100 degrees.
