Well the only time I have the problem is when there is load in the car like a passenger in the front seat. When I'm driving alone I don't get the problem. Can the shocks be changed or is is a sealed unit?

Ok thanks, but if its the shock, can it be repaired? Can the seals be replaced and filled back with oil? If not what is a good choice of shocks that will fit this car? Shall I buy back oil shocks or gas shocks or get one that has both air and liqiid?

Ok but how will I know if its the spring that has gone bad, what if its the shocks, how can I check the both to determine which one needs changing? Or is it that the suspension is good and I just need to change the front tires and put lower profiles like say 60 series?

I need some help with my front suspension. I have a datsun 120Y B210 and the front suspension is just to soft. I changed it to some newer ones I bought and its still to soft. I'm not sure if thats how the suspension is originally but its really a problem for me especially when I have load in the car. I have 175-75-13's tires in the front and when I go into a pot hole or turn the wheel at a corner the tires rub badly on the fender and even bends it outwards. I don't think that the shocks are dead, but when I bounce the front of the car its just to soft. How can I eliminate this problem? A local mechanic told me to change the front springs and put some stiffer ones, he told me that R32 Skyline or Cefiro front springs should work. Could anyone give me some more light on this situation and what to do? Thanks.

For the past few days I'm trying to solve a problem that I'm having with my carburetor. Initially the problem was that when I reved the engine at a high rpm and let go the accelerator the engine will cut off. This tends to happen when I stop at a corner.I tried adjusting the air fuel mixture, but that didn't work. Then I bought a can or carburetor spray and sprayed out the entire carburetor, but that didn't work either. I then attempted to adjust the float, but still no change. I then took down the carburetor , scrapped it and cleaned all the jets. At this piont I noticed that the gasket was in a mess, so I taught ah ha this is the problem, so I bought a new one set back up everything and did my adjustments, but to my disappointment the problem still exists . The only thing I didn't check is my vacuum lines. Could a vacuum line cause this problem? If anyone has any suggestions please leave me a post message. Thanks.

Recently I've noticed that my charge light blinks when I start the engine. It blinks like the indicator light. When I put the car in reverse it lights up a little brighter, same thing happens if I put on the signal lights. Can anyone tell me what can be causing this? Does this mean that my alternator needs servicing or replacing? I'd really appreciater some assistance. Thanks.

I find lately that I'm burning alot more gas than I'm accustomed to. A mechanic checked out my carburetor and told me that my float needs adjusting. Well I believe that I can do that myself rather than paying a mechanic to do it, plus once I get it the first time I can do it again. My question is does the float having the wrong adjustment cause the engine to burn more gas and if so how can I adjust it?

I recently put in an original electronic ignition into my A15 engine. I put new NGK plug wires and new NGK plugs. But I used back the same coil that was their with the old ignition with points. I'm getting a little problem though, when I start the engine warm it up and go on the road shift from 1st to 2nd at about 2500-3000 rpms and let go the acceleration pedel between gears the engine shuts off. I even get this problem throughout the day while driving at normal temperatures. Basically the problem exists when I rev the engine at a high RPM and let go the acceleration pedel quickly. The problem only started after I put the electronic ignition. Does anyone have an idea what can be causing this? Could it be because I used back the old coil? Should I buy and electrionic ignition coil?
