Well I noticed that the back right side of the car is lower that the left side, I thought it was the shocks gone bad. Then I got under the car to take out the shocks and what did I noticed the second spring leaf right under the main one is Broken at the very end. I was running the car with this for a while now thinking it was the shocks, now the main spring leaf is under strain and is bending at the end and I'm worried that it will break soon. Does anyone of you guys know which other spring leaf I can replace the original ones with? because its hard to get a pair of original in my country.

My A15 engine carries a clutch fan to cool the radiator, I was just wondering if there can be any maintenance done to the fan to keep it functioning properly?

Is the trigger wire the wire that was hooked up to the condenser? and which one of the wires from the distributer should I hook up the negetive or the positive? The colors of the wire is Blue and Black, I'm assuming that black is negetive.

Ok I got the distributer today, I paid US$40 for it. Now I'm going to use the original coil until I can get an electronic iginition coil from a Sentra or a Cifero, but what I want to know is how to wire it to the distributer? Do I have to take out the Resister or leave it? and what other points should I take into consideration as I'm using back the same coil? Thanks.

Thanks guys, can I keep using the existing coil that I have or do I need to get a coil suited for the Elcetronic ignition?

I have a distributor with points on my A15 engine and it works fine, but i'm getting an original Electronic Distributor that came from an A14 engine at a good price. I'm pretty sure that it will work in my A15, but I'm not sure of the benefits that an Electronic Distributor has, can you guys enlighten me

Damn man I would of really like to buy this, but I'm to far away. Here in Trinidad the A series five-forward gearbox is really hard to get and if you do get one the price is rediculus.

anyhow good luck with the sale.

Well for me my 1975 Datsun 120Y was handed down to me from my dad. I grew up knowing this car since I was five years of age. When I got my driver's permit I was excited to drive my Datsun. The car is fun, looks good, easy to modify and maintain, easy on gas and very reliable. I wouldn't trade it for a newer model Nissan and since I put in an A15 with a cold air intake system, my Datsun is running great, I even have the confidence to street race with other newer cars. I drive my Datsun with pride, boldness and joy, I even park it next to BMW's and Benz's
