Any advice please. I am looking at buying a air compressor. I am hovering between a 50 liter and 100 liter. I want to be able to do small spray jobs. Any make that you could recommend? What must I look at.

I am also interested. There is a couple of wires going from my + side of the battery to the different electrical equipment. I am curious what people did with these wires. Did you guys just run a thick wire from the battery to the front and connected it to the starter like normal and then all the thinner wires connected to the starter at the + side as well?

Hi
I am posting on behalf of Clive.
He bought a ARP stud (for the cylinder head bolt down) and ARP conrod kit and they were listed for A12 engine.
He is going to use it on a A14/A15 engine.
Will it work?

No problem ZigZag. It is not difficult. The most difficult part for me was to organize the wire to look original again and to tape it up again to look neat and as mentioned, original again. I also don't have much auto electrical wire experience but I managed.

Here is a link to a picture showing how everything must be connected.

I just about a week ago finished my light upgrade project on the 1200 GX. It took up quite allot of time and I only had night time to do the conversion.

1. Get yourself some semi sealed beams that looks similar than the 1200 lights. They are 7" in size.
2. Get some 25A silicone wires and two relays 30A each.
3. Connect everything up. I replaced the stock wiring of the existing connection with the thicker silicone wire and used the two original wires coming from the cabin as triggers for the relays.
4. Buy yourself some Philips H4 Vision Plus bulbs. they are rated 55/60W.
Install and enjoy. It is a HUGE difference. White bright light.
My 2004 Nissan Pulsar's lights doesn't come close to these lights now.

Just an update on the lifters matter. I spoke to the guy at the cam shop who will be doing the re profile. He said I don't have to worry he has a special machine that is used to specifically do the followers. He explained to me the same that you guys said about the followers and said I don't have to worry he has done lots of Ford V6 engines that the guys wanted cams re profiled and obviously the follower refaced as well for it.
