my little sister has bought a datsun1200 !! she loved my 1200 so much she had to have one hehee. anyway her stock carby has dead spots and i would like to get her one preferably with an auto choke on it, or a set of SU's would be good too.

also the stock pizza cutter wheels are a bit dodgy, would like to find her some 13" rims which I can put some wider wheels onto.

if anyone can help acquire these items plz msg me or email sim(at)sol1.net

thanks!!

My next problem is that I have power to the dash and the electic fuel pump is running with the key off.....any help here?

connect the power from the ignition circuit to the fuel pump, also use a relay to power it too, if you could be bothered. ignition circuit only has power when the key is half turned, just before the start motor goes.

cheers for all the comments, im amazed to see the one on ebay! i like it in black :)

anyway i will try my local nissan dealer, thanks for the advice pplz

edit: the nissan people at artarmon in sydney are useless. still trying to find one of these.

edit: nope nissan hornsby says the item is no longer on file. doh ill have to go nab one from a wrecker somewhere..

edit: woo i found some clips on a 90's Toyota at a wrecker. I had to adjust the size a little with a knife for it to fit in the little datsun hole but i got it there with the aid of some hotglue. the guy at the wrecker laffed at me, after an hour of searching the yard all i had was two clips so i got them both for $2..

edit: yay got a factory one from a grumpy old wrecking yard ! he charged me $5 !!! :(

im looking for a little clip that holds the bonnet arm when in the down position (sits just infront of radiator). its annoying not having it there, mine broke as it was very brittle. i havnt seen any in wreckers so i figured here would be a good place to ask. i will pay for it and postage if someone has a spare. thanks

email: sim [at] sol1.net
or PM me

can supply a photo of my broken one if your not sure what im on about

72sedan thanks for the reply , i found that one on ebay too, but the coupe doors are a lot longer than sedan/wagz and im pretty sure they wont match. ive searched through all the pics of window winders and the mechanical/electrical ones on this site and the coupe ones seem different. i have not opened up any datsun1200 doors to know though, so if anyone can confirm that, i would appreciate it..
