the 32/36 weber off a 4 cyl cortina goes fine on a 1200,u can get the adapter plates from auto one or supercheap they r about 26 bucks.this is a common carbie swap for the 1200

there r two on ebay for sale at the moment

it has a fibre glass insert that screws into the cabin section and it hinges at the start of the tray.it seems to be waterproof but u could make a rubber seal to go around it if u wanted to it also has a lock on the back of it ,u just have to cut a 2 inch slot in the centre of your tailgate to make it work,but all in all it looks really good.
