i had a problem like this in my datto i went through everything to find out what it was,then a mechanic mate had a look at it,we pull out the dizzy and the cog on the bottom of it was half stripped out,i replaced the cog and the problem seemed to dissapear.

if anyone is interested i just found a bloke with a mould to make fibreglass hardtop tonneau covers for 1200 utes,the only down side is they cost 450 bucks and u paint them yourself,ijust had one made it is a beautiful fit .will post a pic shortly.

has anyone in queensland got a tailgate in good condition they would like to part with,if so let me know,its the only missing part left for my ute.

ive been looking for 2 months for a 45mm as well but am having real trouble tracking one down,in fact the only second hand weber ive been able to find is a 32/36 off a 4 cylinder cortina.
