Looking good Jesse

Didnt get a chance to drop round on the weekend, due to kids birthday parties.

Probally bolt a cage in and then look at how you can rienforce that area of the floor some more.

That pan hard rod from the r31 is here if you need it, just let me know.

It is been run by West Coast Commodores, but is open to all vehicles. Speaking with the organiser today, there will be a police presence on the cruise. So no hooning basically

The club will be holding a night charity cruise to raise much needed funds for Princess Margaret Hospital. PMH has pretty much been involved with just about everyone, whether it was yourself as a child, or for your child, or they helped out a friend of the family, and if you haven't had anything to do with PMH then you may need them in the future!
In particular, a club member's 2 year old daughter has recently been di...agnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia which is really sad to hear, but she and her family are strong and will push through it, but without the services and assistance that PMH provide there would be little hope, so that's why it is so important that we try our best and raise as much as we can to help!

Details of the cruise are
Date - Saturday 11th June
Meet - City West Carpark at 7pm for a 7:30pm leave
Cost - $10 minimum per cruise map (start raising now and donate on the night!)

We hope to see you all there to help us raise much needed funds for Princess Margaret Hospital and also enjoy the cruise!

Regards
Phil Holling
West Coast Commodores President

Here you go Jesse, few pix of the bike. Engine re-built, Frame painted and new loom installed.

Now need some motivation in regards to the datto. Made up some templates from some rear mud flaps but that was as far as I got.

Good one champ, hope it goes well.

Having just lost my boy to cancer, I can honestly say these types of events and fundraising are worthwhile.

Yeah there is

It is attached to the chrome trim via a strip of metal and some staples. It is simply a piece of rubber that sits against the glass and seals the gap between the glass and chrome trim. Cosmetic really.

The rare spares ome you remove the staples and the metal strip and it sticks directly onto stainless trim. Mine only lasted 6 months though as it is more of a feft.

The rare spares option is, in my opinion crap.

HAve ordered some from Scotts old rubber, but have not recieved these yet. These are simulat to original, Just have to work out how to attach to the chrome trim.

Friend of mine just imported a Transam from America and had the same deal.

#Had to replace seatbelts to ones with Aust ADR tag on them
#Tyres have to meet Aust Standards
#Flexible brake lines must be stamped with approprate code or replace
#Indicators lights etc as per Aust standard.
#Car also had to be spotless before it left.

That was about it.

Went to the wreckers with a socket set and a tape measure. Cost me $20 for set U bolts. Came off a Mitsubish Triton.

For Bump stops I just modified the 1200 ones.

Fof Shock Obsorber mounts I made custom ones.

Pix in my build thread
