Hey ! .. the Green 1200 supercharged /turbo Coupe is just about ready for Pittsworth on the weekend .. I have built up a new turbo and found another 40hp at the wheels and increased the power band to 7750 rpm from 6200rpm before .. the car has been weight jacked for the l/h turns and everything looks good .. the Car should run its Fastest time at Pittsworth on the weekend if can get some traction off the start .. there are 2 people driving it . Rod Gray who owns the Car ,hes the one who will have it on 2 wheels when hes on a charge ,and me Who built and owns the Go fast bits in the car . Hope to see you out there Charlotte

you guys use high front spring rates in the front ,,iam only using 225lbs kings in the front of the 4agze 1200 race car with the std sway bar .. but i guess i do have a wider track than std and roll centre adjusters ,,,the closer you can get your roll centre of the car , to the center of gravity of the car the less the car will roll with the same spring rate .. i know a few other Aseries 1200 race cars only using around 200 -225lbs fronts .. I have no desire to go any heavier in the front as it will induce into understeer into the car ..

The 1200 coupe is more a sports sedan .. We have ran it at Morgan Park when the track was dirt ...And raced it there up until about 4 years Back.. We only do Pittsworth and Gatton sprints now .. might be going out to Morgan Park on the 22 Aug for a shake down for Pittsworth sprints .. Cheers Cam ... More Pics of the Car on Turphile ..

A wide torque band is the best ,, if you can acheive that you will make the car very driveable which means you dont need to down change the gears as often and short shift on the up shifts ..if you desire .. But Maximum acceleration is at maximum torque ... Horsepower sells Cars .. Torque wins races !
