Hey thanks for the postive feed back , hey Harry did you see the spilts , the car felt a bit nervous going through the last few corners before the finnish and it looks like from the times thats one area that can be improved , i couldn`t beleive how much crap was on my tyres when i got them off the car .. looks like you need to clean then between runs , I recon there are gains with making the rear end work a bit better .. I was using one of " Top Gears" H190lsd`s with a 5.1 diff and taking off in second. which worked out great .

Been wanting to take the Green 1200 coupe down to Mt Cotton for years , so on the weekend it had it`s first event there , 1st run the track was was very damp from pasting showers about 10 mins before the run, so it was a very cautious & slipery run , the next couple of runs the track condtions were good but , i was more concerned with stopping the car without locking tyres at the hair pin with out going in the peanut shells , with a bit of fine tuning on the brake bias towards the rear , the brakes pull up great . On the last run the start was average and the clutch pedal managed to stay stuck on the floor briefly , so it was a slower run ,
My fastest run was the 3rd run @ 45.84sec which was enough to win the class for the day , i recon i could knock another second off the time with a bit of fine tuning to the car and the driver getting to know the track , i was reving the engine to 8000rpm in 3rd and could have changed up a gear out of the corners , but didn`t want to go any faster till i had the brake bias set up correctlly.so there is time to be made in a few areas ,

Just a bit of feed back from the weekend ,
I ended up 13th outright of 170 cars/openwheelers for weekend , The Trenoweth's 6ltr Jag was just over 2seconds faster than me , But crashed out over the finnish line on saturday , there was so many wrecked cars from offs over the weekend and being my first time there i was happy to take things a bit easier til i got used to THE HILL . looking at the data there is time to be gained in the 3rd sector of the track and also the bit on the 1st sector . It was a Blast , I hope i can have another Go at it next year , here is a link to the results http://www.noosacarclub.com.au/thehil ... lts/NoosaOutright2007.pdf

John Siddins is a Standout ..
