Even though im putting a ca in the ute id have to agree with the other guys give her a freshen up and work on the injection manifold that you were going to do and keep it twin turbo just cause its different. If it turns out the engines stuffed and you cant be bothered building it yourself give randy a call at the 1600 workshop in bayswater they do good work
Make one out off a fuel lockoff solonoid with a bleeder on one end thats what I had on my old et turbo and it worked well wont cost your more than $40 to make I now its not as good as an electronic one but a lot cheaper.Theres an article on n12turbo.com that was in an old hot fours that tells you how to go about it
Let it run for a while mate then pull all the plugs out and get someone to crank it over for you and see if any water comes out. Also check the plugs to see if there wet or really clean which would indicate water in the cylinder. If you have access to a preassure pump it up to about 15-20psi if there is no water pissing out off any hose and the guage starts to drop youve got a blown gasket which is common on ca18det's .Hope this helps and good luck
