well were do you live... i have a 1200 coupe, but i was planning on racing it.. but i have a vg30 that i can put into my 510 now, but no money to do the swap.. so i dont know???? ..the 1200 has a ka24, ...

oh yeah,, it sounds to me, like that dude is asking way too much for his 1200...BUT, that saying about you dont get the money back that you put into a car, when you sell it is NOT true...
,,, i would only sell my 510 for like $4,300.oo "i have had offers bigger" but i only put in $2,600.oo at the most...
,, i sold a previous car for $5,000.oo and put in 3,200.oo.. ... i have sold like three or four cars like that before...

ok here is the easy qwick way to test any car alternater... 1.} start your car, keep it running. 2.} pull the negative battery cable off from your car battery. "if your car dies, then your alternater is bad... "if your car stays running with no battery, your alternater is good" ... easy, and you dont need a volt meter.... ... ...

yeah, i can.. i just type way too slow... i am doing a turbo charged twin cam KA inplant in my 1200.. .. it is cheap "kinda".. and the H.P. shoud be huge.. .. .. i can let you know how it comes along.. ... ... so far i gat the motor, "of corse" and the car "of corse" and i got the car ready for the drop.. "the cross member is rotated 180o'" the car is fully striped and engine bay is painted flat black... i am now awaiting the new motor mounts to be weilded to the correct mock up... then the KA should bolt on in.. ... ..

SR20DET... the cost is not much more, and it is only like 50 lbs heavy'r ...but all in all more hp, .... BUT DO NOT get me wrong the ca18 and sr, and fj, are all swaps i wish i had in my datsuns... man,,, i would give my left nut for any one of those to magically be put into my datsuns.. .... ...
