Yeah I know mate but it is just an extra level of difficulty not being able to check it out easily. And you can be 100% guaranteed it will be defected when getting the ID checked to transfer the rego, that is what they do in SA.

bige, you have lots of A15s? Interesting. Definitely after one at some stage (still yet to find the right datsun), where are you located? Price etc?

Hey mate, is the manifold on those to suit the oval port head?
Pardon my ignorance but what else is required to get these up and running on an A series? Is everything there so only tuning is required?

Thanks mate, I did see that one but by the looks of the photos it is fairly rusty. I know whatever I find will have rust but it just seems there are some great examples that I see interstate for a much more reasonable price or if they are that expensive then they are in terrific condition.

Morning everyone. I have been on the lookout for a while to find a new Datsun but cant seem to find exactly what I am after so was hoping someone was considering selling that could help me out!
Looking for a fairly cheap (2-3k) Datsun 1200 ute or a Sunny, not looking for anything fancy but just minimal rust. Seen a few cars that are completely full of rust and unfortunately that isnt something I want to get into! There is a great Sunny wagon for sale at the moment but just not super keen on the wagon style, if it was a sedan I would buy it in a flash. Car is going to be used as a daily driver for a while but once everything is sorted I plan to build up a nice A15, redo the suspension, bushes, brakes etc.
Had a few Sunnys in my time so keen on them but also would love to own a 1200 ute.
Has to be located in SA because I am out of town at the moment so I am getting a mate to check out prospective cars to purchase before I get home.
Thanks!
