i've nearly made my mind up on the engine these'll go onto ... i've still got the orig untouched A12 motor that came out of the datto so i'm thinking i 'nicely' rebuild that bottom end and then do a H89 head that i've got to go ontop. This way the datt'll go back to having all proper matching numbers

still needs a little cleaning up and exact matching to the head and the TB couplings

i'm thinking a 1K grille with the 1200 badge bodged onto it ... the grilles not even as wide as the headlights ... in the front angled pic you can see the grille badge cutouts to suit the single chrome strip on the 1200 grilles

I've actually organized the same lunch stop but a different route for the forester clubs on the day after :( so I'll be a no go

tomorrow i'll have the manifold and TBs arart and ill chuck up some pics ...

the runners are pressed to shape to suit the oval ports and also the TB dia.
all out of one peice of alloy tube, rather impressive and the internal change is nice and smooth ;)

Haven't quite decided on computer but megasquirts looking good, specially with the backup service from this site now ;)
but then I've got a mate down here who's pushing for microtech lt8 or something ?

Was thinking crank angle for the trigger or mod the bluebird electronic that's in there ?
