Halo Mense.

GXman,.... Hoe gaan dit mnr.

Dis lekker om te sien all die Suid Afikanse hier op is

Kan hierde Suid Afikanse Indiers, mos engels praat. Jammer my afrikaans a bietjie sleg

Good thing we have the locals on board.

I was at the This years "Cars In The Park" event in Swartkops, and was suprised to see a few Datsun Clubs. And after chatting to these guys, unfortunately most of them guys hadnt even heard of this forum.

The "Datsun SSS CLUB" chairman, well was a poophole in my opinion. HE KNEW EVERYTHING.

However, The guys at the event with the Datsun1200 club from Pretoria where awsome though. They where willing to assist, swopping Telephone No's etc, to people who wanted to keep the Datsuns and Nissans on the road. Pointing guys like myself to good machs/Engineers/Panel shops and places where to find parts etc.

I do have the Founders/Chairmans contact details if you all interested.

Ok mense. Lekker dag verder.

Those clear/Crystal aftermaket tailights are very easily available here in SA. Im not really one for those.
The crystal/Clear fender and bumper indicators look cool though

Hey all

Having had recently seen an old Leyland mini fitted with new mini tail lights and how original and cool it looked made me wonder if anyone had done mods on the tail lights of their ute's. Im aware of the tinting etc. But has someone actually moulded and fitted in different syled ones.
Pls post pics.

Hi Guys.

My 1400 ute, 2003 Model, 5 speed tranny is screwed up.

After having a few too many beers and wheel spinning. My tranny now started to select into all the wrong gears, despite showing that its in the right gear position.
Sometimes she doesnt want to get out of a gear. She also at times doesnt let go of clutch when in gear. This is weird. I have taken out the tranny today, but unfortunately not taken off the clutch/pressure plates off yet.

What could be wrong. Is there a selector pin/gear etc. within the tranny that is probably damaged.

What do i look for. How do I probably resolve.

Please help guys. Pics appreciated as well.

Yes DD, they are aftermarket universal door mirrors. Couldnt get the original type ones new. I tried at the wreckers as well, however the rust at the spings and bolts turned me off. I was more keen on the B110 charcoal/chrome mirrors, but no luck. I did a few conversion on he the mirrors before bolting it on so the spring back functionality was attained. However guys, these mirrors are not as good in regards to view, compared to what the the original square doors ones that came standard on the later nissan 1400's here in South Africa

Hi All. My baby is back from the panel beaters. After it bein turned on its side by a drunken off-duty traffic cop that hit into me. Still got a few odds and ends to do. As you might notice that my Bakkie doesnt have side mirrors. Its a 2004 ute, and im sure youve seen what style the original side mirrors are on these ute's here in South africa. Ive been thinking to go a bit retro and instead put in the Bullet/Cone style fender mounted mirros. What do u all think. South african dudes pls assist where I can get these here in JHB pls.Was thinking the blaqck instead of chrome type
