Have you tried idling the motor for a long time whilst parked. Does it heat up? Does she heat once you press on it on the open road, however, if you take off your foot of the pedal and let her coast, does she start cooling down. If this above is happening and you say alls fine with cooling system {radiator, fans, pipes, t\stat], then I assume that your h\gasket is on the way out.

Yeh, do as ang94541 said, However if its not that, I'sd suggest checking the lug behind the ignition switch.

Mine was f...ked, big time. I bought the plastic bushes, but then realised that the g\stick pin at the bottom wasn't there except a bolt and nut jobby instead. This pin had to be placed on order, and I had to wait a week before collecting it. So what did I do? Well, the bushes wouldnt work with the bolt and nut set up, so I cut a pice of rubber hose, fitted it in the stick at bottom, shoved it in and put the bolt & nutthrough, Whallllah,no sloppiness

Fristly I'm South African, Just to let you guys know, these parts are imported from Japan, wouldnt it be easier to try and import them directly yourselves, to avoid the middleman{SA}.? Oh and remember, we also have many companies here that can get these parts besides the Nissan Agents Themselves. Let me know, what you guys are really intersted in buying, and I can Phone around to get Decent prices including shipment costs. Only serious buyers need contact me.

Quote: My thoughts exactly,too expensive. However I managed to call Dist Reman, There prices are a bit keener. The guy I spoke to, THINUS, stated that it will cost +-R1197, you'll have to take in the old dizzy complete with cap, rotor,takes approx 2 days, price includes elect coil, pick up etc. I also asked him on his opinion on putting in a ignitor, He said he can do it, but that it woulndt last more than 6 mths. I dont hink that this bloke will lie, these guys are the most trusted in Dist Remanufacturing Cos in SA, Anyway heres the nos for SSS BAKIES: 011-8351788{danie} and DIST REMAN 011-3344556{thinus}

I did check with the other Guys ,like Autozone etc, I noticed the type of quality on these bushes are different compared to what nissan has. The agent's ones feel alot stronger . Anyway 3 of them for 35bucks, I dont think that its toooo bad. I would love to buy more stuff from the Nissan Dealers{agents} instead of aftermarket spares, however we cant afford the ridiculuos prices that they mention sometimes. But whenever It comes to hydraulic Rubbers, plastics bushes, pins, specific bolts and stuff, I feel going to the agents help. Sometimes these aftermarket mnfd spares cost you more at the end of the day. I've learnt the hard way.

I know that theres not may guys that can help with Dizzy, ignitor question there in Bloem, cause all the guys are here in JHB, but I;m sure if you could pull the the dizzy off the GX and take it to one the Dist Remnfs there in Bloem, they will be able to assist. I'm positive they can come up with a substitute elect type dizzy set up for your car. BTW, I understand your frustation with the point setup, they irritate me as well.. Oh Hendrik, try these guys here in JHB, theyre called SSS BAKKIES, they have everything on the 1400s, I've spoken to them already, they said that they do have the electronic setup complete for almost R2000, but out of stock at present. The guy also stated that DISTRIBUTOR REMAN here in JHB can also use the 140 sentra set up, they just shorten and change the bottom shaft.
