I do Know , that these metres serves as pointless info to some,
but in my case its a necassity, cause of the audio set-up I have installed, I would like to know, how my alternator's charging, and not have to wait until the charge light comes on.

PLUS HAVING THESE METRES GIVES A BIT MORE CHARACTER TO MY DATTO WITH THE RECTANGULAR DASH

I dint wanna burn my wiring as well.
I just need to establish where does the main positive wire go.

PS.
The are 3 wires, ie 2 + and 1-
One+ for the bulb, and the other for the Metre-guage itself.

Yeh, we have some good locally brewed Beers down here like Castle and Hansa.
But my favourites are Heineken & Windhoek.

If I was you, I would take off the cable you have right now to a Auto Spares shop and match it with a similiar one which is a bit longer.
These japanese cars takes similiar accelarator cables generally, which might require minor mods just around the nut section.

What grounds do you make this rash assumption??? try adding water to the radiator.....

Water is not the only cause of head gaskets blowing,
remember this motor was just redone, probably it wasnt re-torqued properly, as this can cause the gasket to blow as well.

As you might have noticed that on this site many of our fellow Datto Owners have experienced head gasket blowing sometime or the other.
I guess the reason for this, is that some of us tend to push these little motors to the extreme, like myself.

If all else fails,
do a compression test,
in my opinion a12 motors head gaskets blow easily.
