Hey Guys,

Sorry for not being clear, Davie is headed the right direction though, lol.

These are supposed to be factory nissan "Rally Struts" complete units to bolt in including brakes etc... They are not brand new. I have never heard of this stuff and the guy cant remember if the brakes are same as stock or better, or even what is different about them from stock, just that they are "Factory" Rally Struts. Does anyone know about these things? Davie, any chance you will be getting the book back soon to have a look for me?

Thanks guys,
It sure is great to be able to ask this stuff from experts like yourself. Your comments are very much appreciated.

Hey gang,

Have you ever hear of Rally Struts for a 1200? How are they different than the normal stock ones? I have a line on a pair of em and all I know is that they are sposed to be Heavy Duty. What can you tell me? Were they some kind of option? Are they as good as the famed Stanza struts?

Thanks guys

Hey there, welcome,

I saw some bushings on EBAY for shifter. They may be what you want.

Check the Nissan parts counter though, I found a partsman that love old DATS and has a nice 1200 sedan himself. He can get metal fenders (stock) and all sorts of stuff for these little cars, prices are painful but brand new OE stuff is getting rare. I think he said most of it comes direct out of Japan, that they have tons of stuff just sitting on shelves over there since thats where they were all made. Its really worth the call if you find the right guy at the other end of the phone.

Hey DaveB,

Sure send me some pics, I am getting concerned that my wife plans on taking over the coupe I have once it is on the road. Been thinking it would be good to have 2. Just gotta find ways to stretch money further is all, lol.

Hey Ralliarton18s,

ddgonzal knows tons about dats he can probley answer the question better, I think the Deluxe - Sedan is like the one in his avatar pic and otherwise it would be a Coupe or Fastback model.

So how far is SanDiago from Vancouver BC Canada?

Do you have any pics?

Oh I also noticed that "LeeB1200" is desparate to get a windshield for his car, how is the one on this car?

Hey, I went in for another look at your pick and realized I had only looked at the first pic of the back end of the car. The pic of the black one from the side/front looks much better, lol.
