Hello all,

I did a stanza strut/disc upgrade on my ute over the weekend and all went well until I tried to fit a 120y brake booster!!!

I have done a search and had a read of some of the posts (first 100 anyway) but it still didn't answer my question.

The issue I have is that with the ute(84), there is a dip in the firewall where 2 of the mounting bolts go which means that these bolts (left hand) are now not long enough. Has anyone extended these bolts somehow? The centre hole needs to be enlarged which is relatively easy to fix but it also looks like the push rod is too long and doesn't have enough adjustment to attach it to the brake pedal

Has anyone overcome these problems and fitted one of these to their ute?

I know it probably doesn't need a booster but I would like to put one on and I have 2 of them to play with.

Any help would be appreciated.

Who do you go through? I have bought most of my parts through a place called N & M at Northgate and I have found them to be really good. One of the guys that works there is right into Datsuns too so that helps a little bit with knowing what is interchangable.

As the subject says, is the back wall in the cab of a ute double skinned?

In particular the lower section behind the drivers seat, just below the join/ledge that is there.

I am looking at mounting something there but I don't want to drill it and find that it comes straight out the back

I got a price for one about 2 weeks ago and they are about AU$73. I have one untidy one.

I know that Nissan still have the rear tail light lenses, I bought 2 brake and 1 indicator lense for my ute 2 weeks ago.

You have to pay up front but they have them.

If they have the backs, I would assume they have the fronts
