First thing for my ute was Leads, plugs, points and distrubutor cap.

The one I'm happiest about was parts for my stanza strut upgrade, both struts with girlock calipers & near new disc's, lower control arms, camber rods, full steering assembly, 180B brake booster, 120Y front sway bar all for $40

And that was only about 3 months ago and was the second purchase for the ute.

Autocat,

I am very interested in the wheels you have for sale, provided they will fit on my ute with the Stanza struts.

I am on the north side of brisbane but work on the south side.

Do you know what off set they are? What profile tyres do they have on them?

Thanks

Peter

Thanks for the replies.

So it looks like I don't have to change a thing then on the back of the ute.

I have 2 "new" wheel cylinders sitting in the 1600 in the back yard so I might look at them if the current ones need replacing.

If they have a part number on the box, is there anywhere on line that I can check to see if they are the right ones??

Thanks

Hello all,

I have almost finished doing the stanza strut upgrade with the girlock brakes and a booster but I have read something about changing the rear wheel cylinder to something smaller.

Everything I have read doesn't mention which cylinders to put in.

I was wondering if anyone knew which ones I should put in?

My Ute is a 1984 if that makes any difference.

Thanks

I made inquiries about a remote booster not long ago and was told that they are only for a single brake line.

That is only for the front or the back not both. If you wanted to boost both you would need 2 remote boosters

I don't know if this is 100% correct but that is what I was told.

Hope it helps.

I think the top ones would look pretty good on a Ute, that's why I was looking at them also.

I couldn't find the PCD or offset for a sigma anywhere. The person selling them said he had checked with a tyre company and they said they wouldn't fit. I just took his word but he may have been wrong and my ute is off the road at the moment so I couldn't go around and try them.

Are either of these what you are talking about?

I was after a set of the first ones for my ute but I was told they wouldn't fit. Not at all happy about that

Sorry, a slight topic hijack but where can you get a wiring diagram from? One for a 1200 Ute would be mighty handy

edit: thanks Dattodude you've answered my question.

I got a price about 2 months ago for one of these and it was about $78 from Nissan in Brisbane. Believe it or not, you can get parts cheaper from some dealers compared to others.

They will ask you to pay up front for it also because it is a non-returnable order. That is what happened when I bought my tail light lenses.

A pic would be great, you can e-mail it to me at peter.steinback@bsa.qld.gov.au

This is all that is stopping me from getting it back on the road and then I can try out the new springs, shockies, bushes and brakes!! Should be a huge improvement.
