Wondering if anyone knows the ratio, i know the pinion is stronger than the 1200 standard diff (bigger shaft diam.) i chucked one in my 1200 years ago when i had to replace the original (had to changed the rear uni to suit). So does anyone one know the standard diffs ratio and if the the 120y wagon diffs ratio is different?

Cheers

Hi AlphDoti

Dodgeman pretty much covered it,I just want to add 2 things:

1- Make sure that you get instananious pump squirt opening the throttle SLOWLY,you should be able to see fuel almost dribbling out the pump Jet.

2-Make sure you havnt got manifold vacum at your vacuum advance on the distributor,
( It causes a similar symptom to what your describing)

Hi 89mm

Does Lou supply new Mikuni/Solex PHH sidedraft parts?

When I wrote Good luck I meant finding new parts. I KNOW they go well.

Thanks Andrew

I think we all need a friend with a machine shop. I do have access to a machine shop and a close friend who is a competent mechanical engineer/toolmaker/fitter machinist (he likes metal) so I think we'll have a crack at it.One thing im not following is when you say rear hub instead of front, what hub are you refering to.

Thanks heaps for the Info
Alex

Hi

Genuine SU's are definatly not crap, some models are better than others but i wouldnt go as far as saying they are crap.

Hitachi (SU type) do work better than some SU models. (on datsuns)

Its me again, ive just got some rotor specs:

R32 GTS-t (dba 909)280mm,30mm,68mm centre hole, 54mm hat.

R32 GTR (dba 4926) 296mm,32mm,68mm centre hole, 54mm hat.

R33 GTS-t (dba 4963) 296mm,30mm,68mm centre hole,53.75 hat.

I dont know how to figuire out which one would work best, how does the offset/hat height effect the decision?, wouldnt you have already altered the wheel track, offset, when changing from standard struts? Confused.

Hope you can help
