actually, the cd player probably isn't the closest thing. the bar for the wipers is really close. now its going to be closer.

I'm making up a plate out of ally that will go over the top of the heater. I'm going to cut a hole in the middle so that its more or less sealed, and extened it to the sides of the heater, so that it serves as a bracket to mount it on aswell. I'll use some longer bolts with spacers for the bottom mounts. It'll fit... it has too!!!!!

if its just 20mm, extend the mounting brackets and screws and seal it up with a hme made alliminuim sheeting box.
I was thinking about doing this. but if there is an easier way, why??
And my cd player still has to fit aswell... (can't go without that )

apparently the commodore had overheating troubles, and the skyline didn't (or it overheated heaps quicker than the skyline). something to do with the radiator in the commodore being mounted lower than the one in the skyline.

yet another useless fact i've cluttered my mind with for years

you could just flag it altogether and use 12volt hairdyrers to demist the windscreen

the heater hardly does the job, so i doubt a couple hair dryers would.
and i know i got extractors and a cd player, but I'd still hear em no doubt...

Finally managed to get my L20b motor in. In the process, i modified the firewall. now the heater fits about 10 to 20 mm to far away from the firewall.

should i try get another (different) heater?
or should I modify my heater?? ( I would need to move the fan motor and box about 20mm further back)
anyone else had this problem?

mines similar to datto7's,(standard wagon one actually) but has the back painted sky blue.
see how it looks on the car. I can always change it back if i don't like it. but you have to try something different every now and again.

hope your not after some stupid price like most people who have these plates...
saw someone with the number plate "truck" for sale. wanted something like $25 000 for it. I mean, seriously, good if you manage to sell it, but who would buy it???
