so will the centre out of an EB on fit straight into the r31, using the ring gear from the EB and the pinion gear from the r31?

Or do I need to take the centre out of the EB, and use the r31 ring gear?

only the silohette has the lsd.

Skyline:

Manual (lsd and open) : 3.7

Automatic (lsd and open) :3.89

Pintara (not sure on manual) : 4.11

GTS2 (both auto and manual) : 3.89

Pretty much everything you need to know is here:

I'm hoping to get one for my conversion soon. I'm getting one that mounts the turbo about midway the motor though, as I'm running out of room for the dump pipe in the standard position. This should work much better.

I believe the 4 port heads are the ones found in the northern hemisphere.

It is also possible to remove the butterflies from the second set of ports, and weld up the holes. Its a bit of mucking around, but possible.

I've got a ca+box and a a12+box sitting in the shed. I don't have a set of weighing scales that'll handle them though....

I hope I'm not stepping on anyones toes by doing this, but I've put all the info in this thread, and a bit extra onto my website.

This way next time we can just send people here instead of re-typing everything again

I hope you people approve.

yeah I'd be inclined to agree with Duncan. My 1200 had much the same problem when the bottom ball joints were gone. My advice would be to jack up the front of the car by part of the chassis (so that all suspension is hanging free) and shake the wheels to check for slop. This should help you locate the source of the problem
