Reportedly, it takes the toyota SC's 3+ years to wear out from running draw through. Lets face it, even if they only last a year they are still cheaper than rego, or roughly the same money as a set of tyres - cheap thrills if you ask me.

my SC14 arrived today & I shoved it in the engine bay, I reckon It'll fit in a similar way to yours with a sidedraft to get it under the bonnet.

Thanks for the info

Thats the crux of the problem, most so called "Professionals" can't even set up a blowthrough carb properly, let alone tune it, and the costs aren't much shy of EFI.

Basically run either suck though for a couple of hunderd or EFI for a couple of thousand.

Refer above where I said I was using a blower.

don't get me wrong, I'd use petronix if it's high energy cause it's cheaper, but if it's not for approx $100 more I'll get the high energy one thanks.

Back to my main point, is anyone here using one?

is it actually high energy though or still 7v? I want more spark energy to suit the blower, the Crane one is full 12v setup, not just points removal.

A chick at work calls her excel "Delilah"

I used to refer to my VR4 Galant as "EFTPOS" becuase it was an...

Expensive
F*@king
Turbocharged
Piece
Of
S%$t

...due to the repair bills. They wern't that often but when they happened you counted in thousands. The plus size was munching skylines/S13s/HSV's/WRX's with a "Magna". I'd got it to run 12.765@107.9mph - not bad for a 1600kg car eh?

Plus you always needed to carry your credit card cause of the fuel bill, the only thing worse was a lumpy old school V8 or a ported rotor.

Crane have a kit to convert points to high energy ignition, check out Crane under --> Rocket Industriesand look at XR3000 points to electronic kits. I believe Martin Donnon used one on his 1200 ute "The Gimp" about 5yrs ago in a Hot4s mag.

Also here's the Crane link --> Crane Aust

Anyone have one?
