Well I'm not stupid after all. I finished the conversion in August but didn't want to spend $1000 on an aftermarket programmable ignition. I am not running fuel injection., twin side draft carbs. Found out about Jaycar after nightmares with the New Zealand Hyperpak Unit. Took a week of fiddling at night to make the unit from a kit.
Today for the first time ever I drove the ute with real timing advance..
The 4AGE is a great conversion for the ute.
Anyone had success with the Hyperpak Units from NZ?

the DatNats are coming up in Easter next year. I need a Datsun 1200 coupe to buy, not for free, to take to the event, along with my 4age datto ute. A major build is awaiting.

The flares llok good and they will make my ute look a little more legal.

I need a good body for a datto 1200 coupe. Mechanicals not important. NSW, Australia. I live near Tamworth, bush cars never rust so this area would be good.

stanza sway bar is about 1 1/2 inches wider than 120y and thicker I think

My 1200 ute with the toyota 4age.
It has so much wind noise at 90-100kph.
Do you all have the same problem?
I cant hear the mobile phone ring.
Suggestions??
