Hey guys, question here. I am in the final stages of getting my 1200 ready for the road, but have run into a snag. Everything works great except for my carb.I think something may have gone wrong during the build, and I was wondering if anyone knew of where I could find an exploded view to look at. Thanks for your help.

Was the 1200 the only Datsun that came with an A12?? Can they be found in any other models?

Hey folks. I'm in the process of building my '73 Deluxe for the street. The old radiator is shot, and a recore costs about $150 around here, which doesn't flow with my on-the-cheap vision for this project. What other cars, say from a scrapyard, could I use the radiator out of without gobbs of modifications?

cool. I guess you could call my sedan old school, flat black primer job, steelies, gutted interior. I describe old school as trying to get the most out of your ride with the least amount of $$$, even if it means striping parts from junk cars or even making them yourself, and always, always, doing your own work.

Come on now guys, not all kids are like that. I'm only 17 and I work full time in the summer, as an exhaust tech (I have three mechanics working under me, all almost twice my age). I work a 56 hour week, and save my money. My parents wouldn't pay a dime towards a car or insurance for me, and I wouldn't let them if they wanted to. Now, I dont have a $25,000 ute, but I do have my '73 1200, a 1969 Mercury convertible, and I just sold my fully restored '73 VW Beetle. All this is from working my ass off, not from begging mommy and daddy for money like some kids. Just something to think about.
