thats a no brainer, efi turbo a14 fo sho! stock standard motor spend your money on the computer and a couple of manifolds. No machining costs or funny pistons just an easy 100+kw at the wheels with reliability fuel economy and manners.
why cant you drive it for so long, licence issues? looking very good!

chooie: I never got fade with the old motor with the bendix, and I always though the same.. Why get anything better but the new pads are in a different league, you cant describe how god they feel. It's like saying that S13 brakes would do, and for street im sure they would, but at eastern creek your pulling up from 200k's for a 2nd gear corner, you need everything to work really well, lap after lap!!
get the a1rms, will save you money from ultimates anyway! or just call greg at gsl and ask as many qs as you like and make your mind up from there

As i thought was inevitable its being parted out. engine and all the goodies are heading to NSW and the car with an a12 in it looks like it is heading to central america of all places! someone is willing to shell out for shipping as they realise how rare they are in this condition.
thanks for all the interest, wish it was all going to the one place but it was 'expensive' for a datsun i guess. im off to shed some sentimental tears :(
