ive got a flywheel you can have, im confused by the other stuff you wrote though, what are you talking about "source a second hand clutch plate" an a-series one or some toyota thing.

and also what are you talking about "I'll let you know the Toyota model for the clutch plate if anyone can help"

anyway ive got all that gear for an a-series spare and could probably take it to morabbin for you if you want later in the week, i live in bayswater where do you live?

let me know what you want to do and maybe explain a bit better, id be happy to help you out anyway

[Edit]

whats the ring gear anyway? im sure ive got it i just dont know what it looks like

p.s. i just saw that you live in perth so now i know why you nedd help

get one out of an EA Falcon, gives 75-85amp, its easy to mount and lines up nicely and has the same size pulley as the 1200 one, it means ditching your regulator cause the new one has an internal one but basically all you do is wire it to the positive on you battery

ive got a couple of those plates sitting around from the 120y motor that was in my car, ill make up a technical drawring of them and post it on the site cause i think this would help a lot of people, the motor has to be moved back as in the engine mounts on the crossmember will be further forward than the ones on the block, but ill make up the diagram late tonight or tommorow for you guys, that should save you a lot of mucking around lineing it up

you can just make up a couple of steel plates. use some thick steel plates which you bolt onto the engine mounts (1200 x-member) then line up the a-15 and see where you need to drill the holes in the plates for the studs on the engine brackets to go through, the studs on the engine will be about 3 or 4 cm or between 1-2inch back from the original 1200 mounting position, this method is legal!

the c20 diff will go in but im not 100% sure on details, the diff is wider though and will either require guard flares or fwd offset rims to be used on the back

as far as the discs, ive never heard of them being used, any idea what diameter they are? single piston caliper i pressume?

yeah, its this blue stuff, it comes in a tube, ya squeeze it out and spread it over the face then bolt her up, silicon based stuff

dont like your chances of finding a real gasket to do the job and this stuffs probably just as good anyway, except it gets stuck to everything when your trying to use it , in fact the shorts im wearing now have a couple of blue streaks on them that wont come out
