You could do a full rebuild for 1-1.5k and still have a decent ute for 5k.

I would have to say they are worth more than that. They are one of those parts that just seem to be getting to the 'rare' side.

As far as I'm concerned, if you buy a 10-15 year old motor from a wrecker, expect to rebuild the internals and turbo ect.

Your not paying ALOT of money and nor are they making alot.

Not talking about this case in particular, but this is where people get caught out on conversions, expecting to stick to an exact budget and not looking at the bigger picture.

But hey, its all for the best, you got a t28 and now going to work harder to get to that GTBB.
