Yep thats how its done, crap intercoolers give you a mssive pressure drop.

The outlet prode should be on the manifold so the piping is taken into consideration.

There is no formula for intercooler sizing, its all trial and error and comes down to what your theory is.

I think that something that isn't massive, but effective, inlet and outlet in the centre of the core, small pipe runs and gradual mandrel bends.

Pull the front end apart, take some measurements and see what will fit, work out if you want to cut and how you can mount it. That will then be the approx size of the cooler.

The shell is for my project, whole reason I bought the car

The diff I am probably going to need for the brackets....

And the guards and stickers have been in the shop since wed, just pop in anytime between 7:30am and 5:00pm and grab them, they are in the workshop, just let the girls know if the roller door is shut that your picking them up, otherwise go in and grab them

Any troubles ring me, 0404871181

The guards are at my work now, ready to be picked up (7:30-5:00) any day.

But, feel free to let me know when you want to come and check them out and we'll arrange a time.

Any pics in the meantime I am happy to take.
