Dattoman_1000, You need to come by my house and see the collection!! I am in the center of the US, close to the St. Louis, Missouri airport if you are flying across the country. I know I could fill a 3 meter x 3m x 10m shipping container with the For Sale parts, and I now have a way to ship large items to Melbourne reasonable.

WhiteSedan, No worries. You didn't hijack, you added info.

One of my Datsun Sports Racer friends from the 1970's told me it is a Datsun/Nissan competition A-series dry sump pump.

***SOLD both used pumps. New Pump remains. Offers around $400 USD.***

I have (3) of these pumps and until last week had never seen one. Part number is 15010-M0821. It is an A-series competition oil pump with a second stage. Looks just like any dry sump pump driven off of the camshaft.

One is new and the other two are used.

For sale either 1 or all 3 for $$?? You tell me how much. The oil filter faces UP toward the cylinder head.

We had a lot of rear engine sports racers in the late 1970s built with Datsun A-series engine. That is my best guess.

I have (2) new in the box GX cylinder heads with guides and valve seats. I am looking for reasonable offers. My goal is to sell them, not to have them on the shelf for years. [How does $400 USD sound??]

A few years ago I was getting $500-600 USD for a New GX cylinder head in the US. What is today's market?

Shipping for a bare head to Europe is about $70 USD and to Australia, NZ or South Africa is around $95 USD.

Peter

Dual Weber oval port manifolds for Datsun 1200 A-series engines. $100 USD each or $125 USD for manifold with the Datsun throttle linkage. Plus shipping. [Shipping this is pretty reasonable.]

(2) 40mm size
(2) 42mm size (would also fit 40s)
Sold out of 45mm size at the moment
(1) 48mm size (would also fit the 45s)

I have several Weber 45 DCOEs that I am going to discount. Each is missing a screw or bolt, but all are in very good shape, coming off of a race 1200. $125 USD each.

I can e-mail photos.

74mm race engine SHORT BLOCK (no head) in Portland, OR USA. Built by Dan Hall. It is a Flat top piston engine with eyebrows for the valves. Since it is a flat top, it will not be stupid high compression. Depending on the head chamber, you could make it 9 to 12:1. [Compared to 14 to 15:1 in current, high compression race engines.]

It has a custom built oil pan that fits into a 1200 car. Very nice looking steel pan with extra oil storage on both sides. It has a mechanical tach drive off of the camshaft. Very cool for vintage if you want to be period different.

My guess is that the camshaft is also period specs from the 80s.

Stored dry with lub in the cyliner walls.

Pick up in Portland, OR. $500.

Guy, My friend has a tubular chassis Datsun 1200 Coupe with steel roof, but designed for all fiberglass body panels. Chassis is 80-90% finished.

I will sell the entire tubular chassis car for $100, half the cost of the rack and pinion steering setup.

BUT, the car must be picked up within approximately 30 days from the Portland OR, USA area, before the middle of DEC 2009. [Guys in the shop can help you carry it out to your trailer or flatbed. It is not a roller.]

IF no one buys it, it will sadly be cut up for scrap metal. I realize that this is a difficult project to sell, but I wanted to put the word out in case someone is interested.

The rear valence goes up to the deck lid and bottom to the lower edge of the car. Peter

Here are the 1200 coupe body panels I have found at Dan's:

New rear valence / tail light panel.
New front radiator core support.
New Left rear quarter panel with quarter window opening.

Used front valence panel.
Used pairs of fenders. (2 sets.)
Used pair of doors with some dent.

Fiberglass new front fenders for a road car.
Fiberglass rear quarter panels for a road car. [Both are a solid construction, not like the thin panels I make for the race car. These are very nice.]

Call my cell for those in the NW area OR if you live along my route back to St. Louis, MO. [Denver, Salt Lake, etc] 314-724-7098.

I am not getting the PMs and E-mails. Peter

I am selling Dan Hall's vintage Datsun 1200 coupe. The car has a steel body with rolled steel flairs. Race engine with spare parts. [Spare short block.] Solex sidedrafts on dual manifold. Big front brakes. H190 rear diff with spare ratios. Two sets of 1970s vintage looking race wheels. The car has a decent paint job and looks good (for race car standards). Inside, on the dash and on the door panels are race stickers from many events that Dan participated in over decades.
